Pro Bono Activities

AOEF is proud of the many organizations we support through a variety of pro bono activities. We are able to provide this support because of the generosity of many individuals and organizations that share our goal to promote and support orthopaedic related education activities for the patient, physician and healthcare professional.

Phoenix Orthopaedic Residency Program

AOEF provided a multi media conference room, AV equipment and AV technical support for lectures and conferences for Grand Rounds, Basic Science, M&M and Seminars with guest physician presenters from 1999 to 2006.

AORN

AOEF provided a conference room, AV equipment and AV technical support for monthly education and business meetings for the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses, Phoenix and the Valley chapter from 1999 to 2006.

Education Center Conference Room & Video Production Services

AOEF continues to provide its conference room, audio visual equipment and video production services at no charge or at substantially reduced fees to other healthcare organizations, helping support education activities.

SWOTA

AOEF hosted the 2003 to 2007 four day conference for the SouthWest Orthopaedic Trauma Association. AOEF provided conference facilities and AV support for the PGY2 courses and Masters courses in addition to producing multi media course material. Since 2009 AOEF continues its annual role of AV technical support as the event moved to a new facility located at Banner Desert Hospital in the Rosati Center. In 2010 AOEF developed and launched SWOTA's new website www.swotaweb.org and will manage the site.

American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists

Since 2004 AOEF has produced several video programs for AACE to help support the ongoining education of their membership on topics such as "Thyroid Diagnosis Using Ultrasound" and "FNA Biopsy". AOEF continues to work with AACE providing video production support for continuing medical education.
